The large fully fitted kitchen/dining area is furnished to a high standard with Gas effect fires in the kitchen and Lounge. It also has a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. The pure fresh Atlantic air also offers the perfect environment for tranquil "stress-free" breaks. Night-time provides traditional Irish music pubs, and fine restaurants provide local produce harvested from land and sea. The world renowned "Cliffs of Moher" and "Burren Landscape" are only minutes from here.Lahinch beach which is renowned for its Surfing,Kite surfing and all beach activities is only 4km away (5mins)

The Clare Region

Liscannor is a small coastal village in the Burren of west Clare. It is renowned for its small harbour where J.P. Holland invented the first submarine in the 1800,s. It is located at the end of Liscannor Bay, on the R478 road between Lahinch, to the east with its beautiful long beach and promenade, and Doolin, to the north which is the home of traditional Irish Music. There are a number of pubs Holiday/Vacation homes and Bed and Breakfasts in Liscannor as well as a two hotels most with good associated restaurants. The village is just a short drive from the famous Cliffs of Moher Interpretative centre and a magnificent coastal walkway, part of "The Wild Atlantic Way" runs form near Liscannor all the way to Doolin. The area in general is quiet during the colder winter months but is a haven for tourists and locals alike during the warm summer months with water-sports, fishing and golfing available everywhere.

Lahinch Area

Places to visit include: Lahinch Blue Flag Beach which is great for surfing swimming or just messing about on the beach.
Clahane Rock pools are near Liscannor with shrimp and crab and of course swimming.
The Burren National Park. The Ailwee Caves, Doolin Stalactite, The Burren Perfumery, Lisdoonvarna home of "Matchmaking"
There are Ferry Services from Doolin to the Aran Islands many times daily. Walk the Wild Atlantic Way coastal walk, pop in for Lunch at the Cliffs of Moher Interpretative centre, continue to Doolin and get the bus home in the evening.
There is fishing in several coastal areas from Lahinch Beach fishing to shore fishing at Ballyreen and many other spots.
Ennistymon has a market on each Saturday and has several good shops also.

Getting There

Seamount is just 300 meters outside the seaside village of Liscannor with restaurants, pubs, and shops only a short walk away. It is on the R478 otherwise known as the "Cliffs of Moher Road" and is only 3 Km from this historic site with its interpretavive centre and stunning cliffs. Lahinch Beach and Championship Golf Course are also only 3Km away. It is situated on its own grounds, is registered with the Irish tourist board as "Four Star" with all mod cons. WIFI is available in the village just a short walk away.
