DOcuments for renting

Hello,

I\\\\\\\'m a UK citizen aged 64, my wife is non-EU. We are currently renting a property in Spain but want to move to Ireland in August.
We will be doing this on the basis of self-sufficiency not employment because I will have my UK pension by then. In total our annual income will be in the region of 19,000 euros.

We need to know what documentation is needed in order to rent a property because initially we will be in a hotel. We can get a reference from our current landlord and prior to this we lived in Argentina for 2 years, again renting and we could try to get a reference from there.
If our income is not enough, we can provide a guarantor from the UK ( my daughter, who is in full time work ).

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Kevin Armstrong.

PS> I have already asked for advice from a couple of estate agents but they didn\\\\\\\'t bother to reply.
