To buy or get out before it\'s too late

If you are not happy with the general estate now you will not be happy when you buy it. It is very difficult to upgrade an entire estate unless everyone takes an interest in their properties and the general estate and in most cases these estates do downhill.

This is one advantage of estates having an annual service charge because the estate is kept in good shape. There is also management company rules regarding walls / fences/ satellite dishes/ painting/ planting/ parking/ etc etc and as a result the properties hold their value and increase with time.

What will happen next is everything you see in the estate will become an eyesore to you unless you are the type who can switch off and see nothing.
