Placing & Editing Adverts
1. How do I remove my ad from the site?To deactivate your ad, login to MyDaft and click on Live Ads. Then click "Deactivate" in the top right hand corner of your ad.
2. How do I renew my ad?
To renew your ad, login to MyDaft and click on Active Ads. Then click "Renew" in the top right hand corner of your ad. You can do this once every 24 hours.
3. How do I edit my ad?
To make changes to your ad, login to MyDaft and click on Live Ads. Then click "Edit" in the top right hand corner of your ad.
4. How do I place a Premium ad?
To place a Premium ad, log in, and click "Place Advert" (top right hand corner of page). Then choose your property type and on the next page choose Premium ad.

5. How do I reactivate or deactivate my ad?
To reactivate or deactivate an ad on the site, login to My Daft and click on "live ads". Then click on the ad you wish to change and then click either "Reactivate" or "Deactivate".
6. How do I place a Standard ad?
To place a Standard ad, log in, and click "Place Advert" (top right hand corner of page). Then choose your property type and on the next page choose Standard ad.

7. How do I add photos to my ad?
To add photos to an ad on the site, login to My Daft and click on "live ads". Then click on the ad you wish to change and then click "Add Photo" (left hand side of ad).
8. How do I get started?
First thing you need to do is register an account. Click on "Sign-up" in the top right hand corner of your screen.
Once you're registered, login and try placing an ad. You'll be told you need to verify your account via text or fax. Once you've made your decision, you either send a text saying "VERIFY" to 57252 from your mobile which costs 2euro or fax a copy of your passport, driver's licence or a recent utility bill to 01 478 9242.

1. How do I verify my account?There are two ways of verifying your account.
The most common way is to text the word "VERIFY" to 57252 at a cost of EUR 2.00.
Alternatively, you can fax a copy of your passport, driver's licence or a recent bill to (01) 478 9242.

2. How do I join the Tenant or Roommate databases?
To join the Tenant or Roommate databases, login to My Daft and click "place advert". Then scroll down the page and click either, "Place an ad in the roommates database" or "Place an ad in the tenant database". You do not need to be verified to use these features.
3. How long does my ad stay on the site?
This depends on the type and location of the ad.
If your ad is for "Sharing" it will remain live for 7 days, if the property is located in Dublin and for 14, if it is outside Dublin (if the property is available at a future date, it will remain live for 7 or 14 days after that date).
All other ads remain live until the property is either let or sold. If you fail to renew your ad before it's expiry date, it will be deactivated and saved in your "Inactive Ads" folder in "My Daft" where it will stay for 30 days before being deleted.
4. How much does it cost to place an ad on Daft.ie?
Sharing ads are free. You can see a full list of pricing for all other ads here.
5. What are RSS Property Feeds?
RSS stands for Real Simple Syndication. RSS Property Feeds are a simple and reliable way of keeping up-to-date with the content of the Daft.ie website. Instead of having to check to see if new content has been added, you can use RSS Property Feeds to tell you when pages you're interested in have been updated.
