It is a perfect location for a relaxing break, within a village setting, the pub and restaurant are right on your doorstep.

~ The cottage is 50 metres from the local shop with cafe which serves Irish breakfast, soup and sandwiches all day and 100 metres from the local pub and restaurant (serving food during the summer season only).

~ Pets welcome but are not allowed in the bedrooms.

~ Only turf is to be burnt in the fire due to the thatch roof of the property.

Loughanure has a shop, cafe, pub and restaurant and further a field you will find lively traditional music on offer. This is an ideal touring base from which to explore the west coast of Donegal. One of the main reasons why people come to this area is its fame as a great place for fishing due in no small measure to the work of the Rosses Angling Association. With 130 lakes, the visiting angler can enjoy the superb fishing for salmon, trout and sea trout. The wild bog and reed beds area haven for wildlife and the views of the bay.

Named after an old Irish ballad, the Mary From Dungloe International Festival is an arts festival, focusing on music and family entertainment. The event offers classical, folk and rock music concerts as well as music and dancing on the streets.
