Dublin is the capital of Ireland and contains roughly a quarter of its population. It is located in the East of the country. The city is arranged into 24 different postcodes with even numbers indicating the south of the city and odd numbers indicating the north.
In recent years Dublin has grown rapidly and has sprawled into the neighbouring counties of Kildare, Meath, Louth and Wicklow. The main commuter towns in these counties are Bray, Greystones, Maynooth, Naas, Leixlip, Clane and Clonee.
