Placing an Ad
To place an ad you need to log in to your account first.
Click on 'Place Advert' in the top right-hand corner of the page and choose the type of ad you want to place: sales ad, rental ad, etc. Then select between a premium and a standard ad. Click on Place ad now to move on to the next 5 quick steps.
You can pay for placing your ad using your Visa, Mastercard or Laser Card. For further help you can contact The Daft Sales team or Support team on 1580 880 880 (premium rates apply).
Your ad will appear on Daft once our staff checks its contents. This usually takes less than half an hour during business hours; we will email you as soon as your ad goes live.

- Enter location of your property - remember to provide the exact postal address in order to have your property correctly mapped. Please note that the part of the address you enter in the 'area' field is the area users will need to search under in order to find your ad.
- Confirm property location. To reposition the pointer for your property click on the property's location on the map.
- Enter property and contact details
- Upload photos of the property. We strongly advise uploading at least one photograph as it will hugely increase the response to your ad. Photos must be saved in JPEG format or else they will not upload.
- Request optional upgrades. Increase exposure for your ad by having it highlighted on other sites such as Eircom.net, Property.ie or Rent.ie.
- Confirm all entered details are correct
