It is a listed building restored to contemporary standards and accented with beautiful antique furnishings and oriental rugs. Every window captures magical views of rolling parkland, lake and mountains. The grounds of the estate are ideal for the active. The St.George courtyard accommodation: The St. George accommodates up to 12 guests with 2 bedrooms located on the first level and 4 bedrooms on the second. Several of the rooms can be configured to twin or queen size beds. The first level has a ping-pong table and TV sitting area which is ideal as a playroom for children. The second level has a sitting/dining area with a gas fireplace. The St George's six bathrooms all have heated towel racks & hair dryers. The St. George's second level has a fully equiped kitchen for self catering and a washer /dryer conveniently located in an alcove off the hallway. Driving directions from Galway: Follow the signs for Clifden, N59. You will pass through the village of Moycullen (approx. 6 miles from Galway) and from the traffic light in that village it is 4.4 miles to the old stone pillars on the right (note; smaller picture of pillars above & sign on N59). The pillars are located 1000 ft before Kineevey's Pub (red/brownish building in the far distance of sign pic). At the Pillars take a right turn and drive to the end of the road.
