Daft.ie Takes Top Traffic Spot
23th November 2006, Daft.ie Ireland's largest property website, has retained its title as the busiest website in the country. An independent audit of internet traffic by ABC ELECTRONIC confirms that Daft.ie received requests for over 38.8 million pages of information in September 2006, the largest ABC ELECTRONIC audited figure for any Irish website to date. This figure represents a 40% increase in traffic in the last 3 months alone.
Commenting on the figures, Eamonn Fallon, Director, Daft.ie said "Our incredible growth is due to a surge in the number of people looking for houses and apartments for sale. We now have over 22,000 second hand properties and 15,000 new homes for sale. This is twice as many properties as our nearest competitor. The vast choice, coupled with our new broadband mapping service, has driven traffic levels on Daft to an all time high".
