Daft.ie Wins the 2007 Deloitte Fast 50 Rising Star Award

18th September 2007, Daft.ie, Ireland's largest property website, was awarded winner of the "Rising Star" award at the 2007 Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Awards. This award recognises companies with the fastest growth in turnover over the past three years.

The Fast 50 Awards programme, now in its eighth year in Ireland, ranks the 50 fastest-growing technology companies. It covers both public and private companies in all areas of technology, from internet specialists to life sciences, computers to semiconductors, software to telecommunications. The programme is open to companies based in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

The awards took place in the Mansion House, Dublin. Industry figures speaking at the event included Joe Macri, Managing Director of Microsoft Ireland, Barry Maloney, a partner with Balderton Capital and Paul Lee, Director of Deloitte Research, Deloitte UK
