Daft.ie Retains its Position as Ireland's Largest Website
15th October 2007, Daft.ie, Ireland's largest property website, has retained its lead over other sites in the Irish market according to the latest audit by the independent standards body ABC Electronic.
The figures show that over eight hundred thousand users are accessing the site on a monthly basis and that users are looking at over 59 million pages every month. Not only does this give Daft.ie more than half of the market share of Irish online property websites, but it also makes them the most trafficked destination website in Ireland.
Daft.ie leads the way when it comes to how much site content is accessed by users. The website can be considered the "stickiest" site, with more pages (as measured by page impressions) being accessed by user than other sites in the market.
Welcoming the figures, Eamonn Fallon, CEO of Daft.ie commented "Over 1,500 estate agents in Ireland choose to list all their property for sale on Daft.ie giving consumers access to nearly the entire Irish property market online. It is this breadth of choice that is causing the shift of consumers away from other property websites and newspaper property supplements and onto Daft.ie."
The audit for September 2007 was conducted by ABC Electronic, which is the accepted industry standards body.
