Sherry FitzGerald O'Donovan formerly traded as Michael O'Donovan & Son, and was founded shortly after the turn of the last century by Michael's Grandfather Edward O'Donovan.
In 1991 they opened an office in Mallow and since then the business has grown from being a rural auctioneering practice to a busy office handling all types of property transactions from residential, commercial, development and agricultural land to pubs and offering a comprehensive service in sales, lettings and valuations.
In 1991, Michael O'Donovan established his Estate Agency practice on the Main Street in Mallow. Realising that the future of Mallow was vibrant given its proximity to Cork City, its available land bank and services, Michael took his business the next step and in May 2000 joined Sherry FitzGerald Countrywide.
Since joining the network, Sherry FitzGerald O'Donavan has continued to expand and in September 2000 opened its second office in Midleton. In Mallow too progressive change has come to pass this year (2003) with the company's head office moving to new offices again on the main street but more centrally located. The company opened a 3rd office in Fermoy in 2008.
Sherry FitzGerald O'Donovan provides its clients, not now just through the Sherry FitzGerald network but also through its own three offices, a wide and professional range of property related services and continues to push the boundaries in relation to client service levels.
