The Rainey family have been selling, renting and valuing property throughout County Donegal for over 50 years since the late Dermot Rainey (Snr) first established his auctioneering practice back in 1951. In 1999, we became a franchise member of Sherry FitzGerald in recognition of the importance, to our clients and customers alike, of enhancing our extensive local Donegal property knowledge with the support and experience available, at a national level, from Sherry FitzGerald, Ireland's largest firm of estate agents.

We are committed to delivering the very best estate agency service in an honest and transparent fashion in accordance with the provisions of Code of Practice set out by the National Property Services Regulatory Authority. To facilitate this we have recently installed a state of the art web / cloud based computer software system that instantly tracks all property activity, including appointments, viewings, offers, comments etc, etc whether our negotiators are in our out of our office. This ensures that activity records are maintained and instantly available and that our clients, customers and their representatives are kept fully up to speed on all developments as they arise. Going forward it is our mission and aim to employ the very best technology available to allow us deliver a superior and enhanced estate agency service at all times.

Our team include negotiators and valuers who are members / fellows of the main professional bodies for the estate agency industry such as Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), Society of Chartered Surveyors in Ireland (SCSI), the Institute of Professional Auctioneers and Valuers (IPAV) and Confederation of European Estate Agents (CEI).
