*Final date for submissions 27th February* The Terenure College Rugby Football Club invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced individuals or companies for the operation of the clubhouse bar under a lease/licence agreement. The successful applicant will be responsible for the day-to-day running, staffing, and management of the bar facilities in accordance with club policies and licensing laws. 2. Background The clubhouse bar is an integral part of Terenure RFC, serving members, supporters, and visiting teams. The bar is also used for social events, fundraisers, and private functions throughout the year. The Club was founded in 1940 and is now one of biggest clubs in Irish rugby fielding senior, Junior, U20s, youths, minis, girls and special needs teams as well as catering for the needs of other clubs and Schools within our community. 3. Objective The Club aims to partner with an operator who can: - Provide a high-quality bar service to members and visitors - Maximise use of the facilities through events and functions - Ensure compliance with licensing, health, and safety requirements - Maintain the premises to a high standard 4. Scope of Lease / Agreement The lease will cover: - Premises: comprising of bar area, storage, cold room, keg room, function room and kitchen - Duration: lease terms are flexible (5 to 10 years) with the possibility of a break option for both sides - Rent / Payment Terms: all offers will be considered and the successful candidate may not be chosen on the basis of the highest rental offered alone. The rent will be paid monthly or quarterly in advance. - Utilities & Maintenance: the preferred operator will pays for utilities, cleaning, waste, and minor repairs - Hours of Operation: In line with licensing laws and club activities - Access: the preferred operator will have full access to the club facilities unless there is a need for club use during training and match days. 5. Responsibilities of the Operator - Operate in compliance with licensing laws - Maintain public liability and employers’ insurance - Staff the bar with trained and certified personnel - Keep the bar and adjoining areas clean and presentable - Work cooperatively with the club committee - Provide competitive pricing and beverage selection - Promote responsible alcohol consumption 6. Responsibilities of the Club - Provide access to bar facilities as per agreement - Maintain the structure and main utilities - Support the operator in promoting events and functions 7. Timeline. Starting 1st of May pending completion of renovation. 10.
