Description Planted in 1997, this forest consists of c. 14.6 acres of Norway spruce and a separate block of c. 8.3 acres of Sitka spruce. Part of the Sitka spruce block c. 13.1 acres, has been damaged by repeated flooding. This can be seen on the below map. Access is via a lane which is marked in blue on the map. Churchtown is a beautiful stone village located in the countryside North County Cork just off the N20 between Buttevant and Charleville. Churchtowns amenities consist of a primary school, church, restaurant, shop and GAA facilities. The close by Towns of Charleville and Buttevant have a larger range of amenities also.
