Enniscorthy also has a railway station which is on the Dublin-Roslare Line and an excellent national bus route service. It is located approximately 24 kms northwest of Wexford Town, 126 kms south of Dublin and 40kms north east of Waterford City. Enniscorthy will benefit immensely from major state road infrastructural developments of just under 350 M which are currently underway with the extension of the M11 motorway and will bypass Enniscorthy on the east side relieving heavy traffic congestion but also giving the town direct access to the motorway network reducing driving times to Dublin. The town will also benefit from a western relief road circumventing the town on the West side linking the M11 motorway to the N30 New Ross route.
