Lecarrow, Craughwell, Co. Galway

Joint agents; APP Kirrane Auctioneering and Gerry Conway Auctioneer are delighted to bring to the market 44 acres of good quality farmland at Lecarrow on the outskirts of Craughwell. The land is on the main Loughrea road two kilometres from Craughwell village (ACROSS FROM EIRCODE H91 E5 FC ) in the heart of Blazers country and directly opposite the signpost for the townland of Colesgrove. It is also convenient to the towns of Athenry and Loughrea. The land is laid out in a number of divisions and is well fenced with two entrances from the main road. A farm road and a stream runs through the land. Silage was cut on circa thirty acres of the land in the current year. There is substantial road frontage which would facilitate the construction of a house and farm buildings subject to the appropriate planning approval. This represents an exciting opportunity for a young farmer to acquire their own herd number and avail of all the incentives to develop their own farming enterprise. It will also appeal to adjoining farmers who wish to expand their existing holdings. It is also an opportunity for an entrepreneur looking to establish a horticultural or organic farming business with a ready market for their produce in the adjacent towns of Craughwell , Athenry , Loughrea and the Saturday Market in Galway City.
