Hennessy Auctioneers and Estate Agents was established in the mid '70's and since then has grown from strength to strength providing property services to its clients in all property sectors. The company was established by Mr. Kevin Hennessy and has grown from employing just 2 people to now employing 6. The company has been in the Hennessy family since it was established and Fiona Hennessy (Kevin's daughter) is now Managing Director.
The original office space was approx. 300 sq. ft. and was situated at 87 North Main Street. The company moved two doors from there to larger premises of approximately 1,000 sq. ft. providing an open plan layout ideal for the business to showcase our clients properties.
In 2000 Hennessy Auctioneers and estate Agents joined Sherry FitzGerald Countrywide to gain the benefit of its nationwide network of branches and to establish the company nationally as well as locally. Since joining our clients have reaped the benefits of working with a property services company that truly provides those services on a national and international basis.
The company has IPAV and IAVI qualifications.
