This is a noted angling centre, and there is plenty of opportunity for sea fishing, or you wait at the jetty for the fishing boats to come in and buy fresh fish from the fishermen. For days out, the rolling countryside and beautiful coastline of West Cork await you - the gourmet centre of Kinsale is a very scenic 18 miles away. If you can't cope with so much relaxation, Cork City is only 30 miles away.
