From June 10th 2026. I am subletting my apartment in the picturesque waterside development of The Moorings, Midleton, while I am away for the summer. It's available for sub-rental for a 1,2 or a maximum of 3 month period (flexible) . It is being offered as one bedroom apartment, just note that the property has a second bedroom which is unavailable for rental as it is being used for storage. The apartment is an option for those seeking either a short-term East Cork rental or looking for something until a longer-term property arises. Location The Moorings is a fantastically located and well maintained complex. It boasts the attraction of a peaceful and scenic setting with the benefits of being less than a 15 minute walk from Midleton town centre, a one minute drive from Lakeview Roundabout and a 12 minute drive from the Jack Lynch Tunnel. Property The property which comes furnished features a bright, open-plan living / dining area with double doors lead to a south-west facing balcony with panoramic views of Ballyannon woods and the Owenacurra Estuary. The adjoining kitchen features washer/dryer (not no dishwasher). The fine sized master bedroom which is an available also features a fine view of the estuary and a simple ensuite shower room. The apartment also features a second bathroom with bath. Parking There is one designated parking space for the apartment with additional common parking spaces available for a second vehicle (though these can be in short supply and come on a first come/first served basis). An additional public car park is available ca. 100m away. The complex also features an outdoor rank for bike parking. Extras Refuse fees are included in the apartment rental as well as Wifi but it excludes e/electric and gas. It's a lovely spot for a summer base. Note due to its high rise balcony, the property is not suitable for children and I'm afraid pets are not permitted in the complex.
