Both double bedrooms have their own private en suite, and one has its own private balcony facing the courtyard. The balcony off the living room overlooks the canal from the second floor, so ideal for privacy and views. On the rooftop, there are multiple communal areas with panoramic views of Dublin 8, and beyond. There is space for bike storage and one car in the underground carpark - this is included in the rent p/m. Bins are also included in the rent, and the complex is serviced weekly by the maintenance team. Internet and electricity are not included, and those bills average out at approx. 250 every two months for Airtricity, and 70 monthly for VM internet (you can probably get a better deal than what I was doing). Location wise, Dublin Bicycles have a station right outside the apartment. Google/ Facebook/ Docklands are only a 20 minute cycle away. St. James' Hospital is a 7 min drive, Merrion Square is a 6 minute drive. Temple Bar is 25 minutes by foot, and Stephen's Green only a 15 min walk. In terms of the Portobello neighbourhood; all the amazing restaurants and bars on Camden Street, Wexford Street and Harcourt street, which are all a mere 5 minute walk away. The apartment is ideally situated for any worker in the city. It's the perfect balance of city life mixed with nature, as wildlife inhabits the canal year-round, and there's always a buzz of people during the Summer (plenty of people watching to be done from the balcony!) The apartment comes fully furnished and the complex itself is very chilled and quiet. All the neighbours are lovely and there is a Facebook page set up for the complex. Safety is big here; there are two sets of gate codes into the block, and the underground carpark is secured via fob controlled gate. Carbon monoxide and fire alarms have been fitted and the maintenance team routinely check fire alarms and elevators, etc. I have been living in this apartment for 11 years, so am the type of landlord who knows everything you need to know about the space and the area of Portobello in general. Just looking for financially reliable tenant(s) who have all the correct paperwork and references, have their life together, and who are a good personality fit for the complex.
