    Dunboyne is a popular village right on the fringes of Dublin. It is situated just off the M3 before one enters the capital’s county borders and towns such as Blanchardstown and Castleknock. In fact, from Dunboyne, Dublin city can be reached in under half an hour in off-peak times. Dunboyne Village is a busy village with traditional pubs such as Brady’s, O'Dwyer's and Slevin’s – the latter famous for its generous carvery lunches. A large modern SuperValu supermarket opened in Dunboyne in 2019, and there is also a Europsar supermarket in the village. Lidl and Aldi are located in the nearby village of Clonee. The addition of an Avoca store in 2017 has drawn even more interest to Dunboyne village in recent years. The 4* Dunboyne Castle Hotel & Spa is also locates in the village. The M3 motorway connects Dunboyne directly to Dublin via the N3.
