    U Maynooth is on the doorstep of Maynooth Town, a mere 5 minute walk to the town centre and its great selection of shopping options. The main street is lined with a growing selection of eateries and bars that have earned the prestigious Purple Flag recommendation, in recognition of the area’s vibrancy as a night-time location. The iconic four-star hotel, Carton House, (a 5 minute drive from U Maynooth) has two championship golf courses, while there are also GAA, soccer and rugby clubs in the area.
