Set in beautiful countryside with lovely walks in all directions, this 5 bedroom house is 5 minutes drive from Crossmolina and twenty minutes from Ballina. There's a very large sunroom to one side of the house, much larger than the normal pokey types. The house is double insulated ie the inner walls are slabbed, and there's a layer again in the wall cavity, so it really retains heat. We put in a large glass-fronted boiler stove just a year ago; this alone will get the house cosy on any winter's evening. There's one downstairs bedroom for anyone less mobile, and a bathroom directly adjacent to it. Kilmurry National School is just around the corner, a 5 minute walk, which has a great reputation. The bus to the secondary schools in Crossmolina passes every morning and evening. The house is furnished, but I can remove anything not needed. All-in-all, this is a very comfortable home. I've decided to rent a room under the rent-a-room scheme. I'm rarely home so in effect that person/persons would have the house to themselves for large sections of the year. The price mentioned reflects this situation. I'd like someone who is respectful and helpful. If we can work together in harmony, that'd be great. I'd like a six month minimum rental.
