Several original medical artefacts associated with the property's former use as a doctor's residence and dispensary have also survived and are now held within the Jackie Clarke Museum of Irish History in Ballina. The residence remained in medical use until 1992. Adding further to its fascinating history, a drawing of the property by renowned Irish artist Jack B. Yeats was recently discovered in one of his sketchbooks.
