The stunning cathedral style kitchen/diner windows beckon in light and warmth which flood the space year round. Separate pantry and laundry area adjoin the kitchen. The majestic, wooden floored living room is open plan with dramatic vaulted ceiling, stove fireplace with large double aspect windows framing the sea views beyond, which can be enjoyed lounging on the bay window seat. There are 3 double bedrooms and an office area on the ground floor and a further bedroom/office upstairs. The generous master suite has a full bathroom ensuite with ornate mosaic tiling, double sink, claw foot bathtub and walk in shower. The master bedroom has French double doors opening onto the back garden. Outside, in the tranquil grounds accessed up a gravel driveway flanked by a drystone wall, there are two ponds and a “secret garden” among the fruit trees. A gate at the bottom of the garden leads to Crushoa Pier where current owners swim and kayak year ‘round and have a boat moored. Particularly useful during Mackerel season. The pier forms part of Galway Bay Special Conservation area making this location extra special. The property is nestled in nature and its beautiful natural gardens have been designed to mirror the coast with ponds, Burren limestone paving, as well as cherry, apple, fig and pear trees.
