These beaches are a mecca for water sports enthusiasts – wind surfers, kayakers, paddle boarders and sailors. Lessons in various water sports are available and equipment is available for hire. Downings town beach, allows cars to park on the beach in a designated area, which is handy if you have small children. It is a Blue Flag beach with Lifeguards in attendance during the summer season.
