This 0.57-acre site is located within a very established residential area, in a quiet countryside location, only one mile from Mullingar Town and its amenities. The site is adjacent to the River Brosna, with Lough Sheever (and extensive forestry) located to the rear. Previous Planning Application The site was previously granted Full planning Permission (095084) in 2009 for the construction of a 4-bed dormer bungalow. Local Need Interested parties will have to satisfy the Local Authority (Westmeath County Council) ‘Local Need’ criteria. ESB Line When a planning application is submitted to Westmeath County Council, details of the planning application will also be sent to ESB. The ESB can either object to the planning application (which is highly unlikely) or else they will not object to the planning application. Providing the ESB do not object then there is an onus on them to remove the poles (and overhead lines) from the site prior to building construction. ** When Planning Permission was granted in 2009 the applicant was advised by the ESB that there would be no cost for the removal of the poles.
