There are also many activities available on and around the farm. Pony rides and fishing are popular activities for quiet days on the farm. Ballymalis Castle, an historic landmark, is just a short quiet walk from the farm. Once there, you may wish to explore the scenic banks of the river Laune. Description Located on the scenic premises of a 50-acre farm, each private residence features its own unique and spectacular view of the McGillycuddy Reeks. A family of goats, a pot-bellied pig, a flock of white geese, and a Kerry cow are all part of the farm experience. The friendly border collies bred on the farm adore all of their human visitors. Your host at Ivy Lodge is George Kelly. George is an expert animal breeder and agriculturist who has run his family farm for many years. He happily welcomes visitors, sharing his extensive knowledge of the area and of the animals with his guests.
