A five minute walk will bring you to the centre of this quaint village where you can browse the craft shops or wine and dine in its selection of tea rooms, pubs and restaurants. Organic produce can be purchased at the farmers' market which is held twice weekly. At weekends local arts and crafts are displayed and sold in the hamlet. The village of Ballyvaughan boasts a wide range of amenities including foodstores, pharmacies, a launderette, post office, and bicycle hire. The house is also equipped with WiFi (Wireless Internet) so you can get lots of information and plan your trip before setting out. Accommodation A large kitchen-dining area forms the heart of the house. This area along with the living room and utility is set on a lower level to the bedrooms. The kitchen window is 8 metres long and 4 metres high and occupies the entire sea facing wall. With its cherrywood units, central island and large dining table it is both a sociable and comfortable place to cook, dine and relax. The house have five large bedrooms all en-suite. Between them they contain four king size and three single beds. The large bedroom also contains a sofa bed in case the need arises. All en-suites contain a toilet, wash hand basin, and shower. The main bathroom contains a toilet, wash-hand basin, and bath. The first floor comprises the largest bedroom of the house with spectacular views out to the sea. This room makes an ideal family room as it contains a sofa bed which means there is room for an extra two people. The large garden leads down to the beach and features a sheltered seating area which is great for eating outside and barbecues. The floor to ceiling glass windows on the kitchen and large windows on the family room make the garden feel like part of the house. Rates are from €1090 to €1990 weekly.
