Area The little and bustling village of Boyle can be found on the border between County Roscommon and County Sligo. Bursting with history, Boyle is home to a well-preserved 12th century Abbey, as well as the fascinating King House, a restored Georgian mansion in the centre of the town. The nearby county town of Carric-on-Shannon offers a wealth of amenities, including many pubs, shops and restaurants. Region The West of Ireland conjures up many images; thatched, whitewashed cottages, a flock of sheep on a narrow road, an emerald green field with a stone wall, or the Atlantic waves crashing into towering cliffs and rocky shores.
