Enjoy some deep sea fishing trips or catch the ferry for a day trip to Inishbofin Island just 40mins by sea.Claddaghduff village is also a 5 min drive away or 30 minute walk and is the gateway to beautiful Omey island and strand. Call into Sweeneys Strand Bar for a pint after a busy day on the beach.The town of Clifden is just a 15 min drive away.  Here you will find numerous restaurants, bars, coffee shops and retail, perfect spot to try out local produce and crafts. Not to be missed a visit Lowry’s Music and Whiskey bar, voted Best Traditional Bar in Ireland-loved by locals and visitors! Grab a bike at Clifden Bike Shop and head out to Derrygimla Bog/ Alcock and Brown crash site or head up the Sky Road, take a walk down to Clifden Harbour or the Boat Club where there is a cafe and restaurant in the season.Inside:You enter through your own private entrance and the apartment is up stairs. There are 2 double rooms, one with en suite, and a twin room – sleeping 6 people in total. These rooms are large, bright and airy and two have sea views. You will also find a cosy sitting room with smart TV and mountain views. There are also plenty of books and games for everyone to enjoy during your stay. You will find a basic kitchen with dining area too. Make sure to take a ramble up the mountain where the owners have a lovely bench for you to seat and enjoy the stunning panoramic views.  Please note the owners live down stairs.
