Guests can enjoy a nature trail through Blackstones Native Oakwood, part of Killarney National Park. The wood is dominated by Bessie oak, but birch, holly, and ground layer species are also well represented. The woodland is bound on both sides by the upper and small Caragh Rivers, with 21 hectares now preserved as part of the Native Woodland Scheme, a programme dedicated to enhancing existing nature woodlands.
