Visit the castle that towers over the River Eske in the heart of town to learn more about its history. Beyond, the fabulous beaches at Murvagh and Rossnowlagh (both within 16 miles) are ideal for swimming and walking; closer to home, enjoy cycle rides or hikes around Lough Derg (12 miles), Ireland's most ancient place of pilgrimage.
