The cottage also has a ground floor bathroom and first floor shower room, along with a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with open fire. Outside there's off road parking for two cars, roadside parking and lawned gardens. Springwood Cottage is a lovely base for exploring this part of the Emerald Isle. Accomodation Details Four bedrooms: 1 x double, 2 x ground floor double (one with en-suite shower, basin and WC), 1 x family room with 3 singles. Ground floor bathroom with bath, hand-held shower, basin and WC. Shower room with shower, basin and WC. Kitchen with dining area (seats 6). Utility. Sitting room (seats 7) with open fire. Area Louisburgh is a small town in County Mayo, surrounded by rural scenary, with three Blue Flag beaches, along with being close to Sheaffrey and Mweelrea Mountains. You may wish to take a ferry from Roonagh Pier to Clare Island, or maybe enjoy the traditional Feile Chois Cuain, a May Bank Holiday music festival. Region The West of Ireland conjures up many images; thatched, whitewashed cottages, a flock of sheep on a narrow road, an emerald green field with a stone wall, or the Atlantic waves crashing into towering cliffs and rocky shores.
