The nearby village of Pen-Y-Groes has a wide variety of stores and eateries. Restaurants and activities including golf, swimming, tennis, surfing, and horseback riding are abundant in the surrounding area. The Gun Room restaurant is located at the nearby Plas Dinas Country House, which is also the site of some fascinating history. While the beach at Dinas Dinlle is five miles away, the beaches on Anglesey and the Llyn Peninsula are both within ten miles.
