The bottom terrace is an orchard filled with a range of avocado and other fruit trees which one again offer stunning views to the south and west across the Andalusian countryside towards the Mediterranean sea & Africa beyond. The middle terrace has a large lawned area. Location:There is something for everyone in this area - the picturesque Andalusian village of Mijas has many charming shops and restaurants, perfect for that early evening stroll. Inland can be found the 'Real Spain' of breath-taking mountain views and many 'Ventas' - the typical Spanish restaurant. One of our favourites, Venta Los Morenos, is just 15 minutes by car on the Alhaurin El Grande road. Lively Fuengirola is just 10 minutes away (8 km) and boasts many fine restaurants, water sports, beaches, a marina and an aqua-park. Marbella with its marina and stylish shops is 20 minutes by car.
