Who are we: We are a mix of people from mid to late thirties with a broad range of professions, roughly half and half male and female. We often end up sitting around having tea and chats in the evenings but also all do our own thing. I'm summer we like to have a few get-togethers, BBQs and the likes. We like having an atmosphere where friends can come over for dinner or drinks and hang out but we also are respectful of each others working schedules and we don't have big loud parties unless its something we have all agreed on. On the whole, we are all pretty easy going, we are friendly and have a respectful, inclusive environment. The House: It's a giant Georgian house - and still has lots of its original features, lovely marble fireplaces, a drying rack in the kitchen and high ceilings. There is a massive backyard and some very sunny steps out the front. The common areas are all very big so there is plenty of space for 8 people. Parking outside is free and there is space downstairs for bike parking. The Location: The house is on North Circular Road, 5 minutes walk to Stoneybatter Tesco, or 10 minutes to Phibsborough shops. We are a 5 minutes walk from the Phibsborough Luas Stop on the green line, it's on the 46A bus route, and the 39A is about 4 minutes walk. Finally, 10 minute cycle to town. All the communal areas are really big. It is an 8 bedroomed house so we are not on top of each other. We all have plenty of our own private space. It's the kind of house where you can hang out and chat away to each other or very easily keep to yourself when you're in the mood. We all seem to have our own cooking times and routines and there is rarely more than two people using the kitchen at any given time. Half the rooms have ensuites so the is no queuing for showers either. We have a cleaning roster with 2 on each week...which is fairly easy between 8, the house gets a clean every week which means each person takes a turn every 2 months.
