The shared areas of the house consist of a fully equipped kitchen with dining, and a bright and airy living room with an open fireplace. And there's a laundry room, an entrance hall, an upstairs bathroom (hand wash basin, lavatory, instant electric shower). The house is surrounded by a large leafy garden. The house is newly renovated, has new double glazing, and has oil-fired central heating. The house is situated in a leafy and tranquil area, which is a safe and friendly neighbourhood with no through traffic to speak of. There is a private park in the centre of the estate, and a supermarket, a chemist/pharmacy, and an independent coffee shop are just a short stroll away. The house is in an excellent location. It is about five minutes walk from the gates to Malahide Castle and Gardens, which apart from the castle, the gardens, the parkland, the woodland, and the sports facilities (golf, tennis, cricket, football, rugby, Gaelic football, outdoor gyms), now contains an Avoca shop and cafe. Malahide village itself is around 15 minutes walk away. It's a very quaint and charming coastal village that has oodles of amenities: a library, a marina, schools, sports grounds, clubs, associations, gyms, hotels, shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs... too many to list. Malahide beach is in walking distance, and Portmarnock beach is close at hand as well. Public transport links are plentiful, with bus stops and a Dart station nearby. The house is five minutes walk from the bus stops on the 42 Dublin - Malahide bus route, and the 102 Malahide - Swords - Airport bus route, and less than a mile from Malahide village, which has a railway station served by Dart trains and intercity trains. Depending on traffic, the house is 10 minutes drive from Swords which has the Pavilions shopping centre with its multi-screen cinema, 12 minutes from Dublin Airport, and 20 minutes from Dublin city centre.
