The house is a spacious detached house on two levels. Downstairs, the hallway leads to a large bright living room containing a sofa, armchairs, and an open fireplace. There's an open plan kitchen/dining room; and a laundry room. Upstairs, there's the bedrooms, and the main bathroom/shower room. Outside, the front garden has a porch with some seating. The back garden is mostly lawn and trees, and has a patio that we use as an outdoor room in summer. There's also storage sheds and a pond full of frogs. Great location, in a leafy mature housing estate with its own private small green park in the centre. The house is very near to Malahide Castle and grounds, a huge park that is only five minutes walk away. It's a 5 minute walk to the local shops, which are a Londis supermarket, a chemist, and an independent coffee shop, and the bus stops to Dublin, Swords and the airport. 7 minute walk to Malahide estuary. Car parking is available on the driveway and on the quiet street outside, and bike storage is available too. The house is a 15 or 20 minute walk from the centre of Malahide village and its Dart and mainline railway station, and Malahide beach. Malahide village is a pretty place crammed with amenities: gyms and sports clubs, shops and services, cafes and pubs and restaurants, to mention just a few.
