It’s a bright, clean double bedroom that has just been freshly painted and has new carpet. At the moment the room has two single beds, but I can replace these with a double bed at no extra cost if preferred. The room also has a narrow wardrobe, mirror, bedside locker and a large set of drawers. It’s a two-bedroom house, and I’m the only other person living here, in the adjacent bedroom. Merchants Square is a quiet, friendly and well-maintained neighbourhood, with a management company looking after the development. The location is very convenient, with buses, the Luas, Lidl, Aldi, Starbucks and other shops and cafés nearby. Rent is €800 per month, excluding bills. The bills are electricity, internet and bins. The room can also be shared by two people for a slightly higher rent. I don’t currently have any pets, but I’m an animal lover and pets are welcome, especially dogs, provided they’re quiet and well behaved. A little about me: I’m a 37-year-old guy, working full-time in IT. I’m easy-going, respectful and pretty quiet at home. I like having a relaxed, friendly house rather than somewhere that feels overly formal, while still respecting each other’s space and privacy.
