Double room available in a warm, sixth-floor, two-bedroom apartment, shared with me. The room has two large wardrobes offering plenty of storage, and large double windows that let in lots of daylight. It hasn’t been painted in a while, so the décor could do with a refresh. While the room isn’t en suite, you would have primary use of the large main bathroom, as I have my own en suite. Occasionally, a visiting guest may use the main bathroom. The apartment is in a relatively peaceful residential area with families nearby. Construction on the surrounding new buildings has finished. Supermarkets, gyms, cafés and the Luas Red Line are close by, and it’s a lovely area for a walk. A little about me: I'm 38, I work in video games and spend a lot of time doing design work. I go to the gym regularly and sometimes travel abroad, but when I’m home, I spend quite a lot of time at my computer in my room. I live a quiet, fairly predictable life and am not into drinking or partying. I’m looking for someone with a similar lifestyle who wants a calm home and doesn’t regularly come and go late at night. I work from home, so the room would suit someone who mainly works outside the apartment. Hybrid working could be fine, but full-time working from home wouldn’t be a good fit. Available initially for three months, with the possibility of extending. Internet is included; electricity is extra. If you’re not currently employed, my preference would be for two months’ rent paid in advance.
