5 DAY RENTAL – FEMALE ONLY (THIS IS A SUNDAY –FRIDAY RENTAL FOR STUDENTS) Single room with shared bathroom available in a family home in Stillorgan. This is a Sunday-Friday rental. Street parking is available outside the house. Rent is €800 per calendar month payable by Revolut or bank transfer with a 1 month deposit payable upfront. This includes gas, electricity, WiFi and all other bills. The room contains a single bed, desk and chair, built-in wardrobe and bedside locker. The house is warm and well-insulated and was modernised and redecorated in 2021. Upstairs there is an ensuite master bedroom, three other bedrooms and a family bathroom. Downstairs there is an open/plan kitchen dining room, a sitting room, downstairs toilet and TV/family room. There is a garden with mature trees to the front of the house and a rear garden with garden office and outside dining area. There is also secure, covered bike storage at the side of the house. The house is located in a quiet leafy estate just over 5 minutes walk from the Stillorgan Luas stop (green line) so it takes only 30 minutes to get into St. Stephen’s green. The 25 bus stop to Dun Laoghaire or Dundrum shopping centre is a 2 minute walk outside. The Aircoach stop to Dublin airport is also 2 minutes away. Stillorgan village is a 10 minute walk away and the N11 bus corridor from there has frequent services to UCD and the city centre. Stillorgan is a safe and quiet neighbourhood with lots of amenities and great transport links. There are plenty of parks, shops, pubs and cafes within easy walking distance. There are cycle paths everywhere in the neighbourhood and it’s usually faster than driving for short distances. It is a 5-minute drive to the M50 so very easy to get out of the city. The house is shared with a couple in their 40s who both work full-time and their two kids, both in secondary school. There is also a very friendly dog and cat. We have had many au pairs live with us when our children were younger, and we have had lodgers for the last few years so we are used to sharing our space. We are friendly, respectful and considerate and we’re looking for the same traits in our lodger. Being an animal lover would also be an advantage! Rental period is for 9 months minimum with flexibility for a longer rental, with a minimum of one month’s notice.
