I am looking for someone to join me and my dog in our two-bedroom house in Stoneybatter. I’ve been renting here for over two years but my current housemate is moving, so the room will be available from 24 June. About the room: it is a decent-sized double room, furnished with a bed and mattress. Rent is €1100 per month, and bills range from €100-200 per month (€200 at the height of winter). So far the landlord has been responsive to any problems we’ve reported and hasn’t caused us trouble. What I’m Looking for: - Someone who is reliable with paying rent and bills on time - A person who likes to pitch in with housework and keep the place tidy - Must be dog-friendly (my dog is small-medium and friendly, though a bit barky) - Someone who shares similar values: pro-trans, pro-fat, anti-racist, and left-wing politics - Ideally, no working from home (or only occasionally) - Good communication is key - Comfortable having friends over for visits Nice-to-haves: - If you take a few Covid precautions, that would be awesome! - Someone who’s active in their community would be a great fit. A Little About Me: I’m a 28-year-old non-binary autistic person. I love crafting, theatre, and singing. About My Dog: She’s well-behaved, though she does bark and jump up a bit. She’s friendly and doesn’t take food. She is allowed on the furniture but not upstairs. The House: It is a two-bedroom house with a bathroom, kitchen, sitting room, dining room/office, and a small yard. It’s close to Phoenix Park and Arbour Hill Cemetery.
