Hi, we are looking for a flatmate! One furnished room and private bathroom available in a Whitehall (D9) apartment for a social, intentional coliving with a mid-30s international couple. Monthly rent 992€ + ~40-100€. 992€ deposit. Move-in date is Dec 1! We are N (she) and G (he), a couple but independent, in our mid-30s, leftist, alternative, vegetarian, sober, drug-free, child/pet-free, mostly introverted but curious and social. We've both lived in intentional communities before and are looking to create a similar vibe: That is we're looking for someone who'd choose to live with others -- and us in particular -- even if it weren't for this crazy housing crisis! We both work in tech. N works regular hours in (evil) big tech and is an aspiring writer. G is a former researcher, but now works from home, daytime and often evenings too, in a pre-product/revenue one-person IT startup. Most of our hobbies revolve around reading, writing, learning, or building something, plus walks/hikes in nature. We value concern for the state of the world, empathy, quietude (kinda noise-sensitive), and cleanliness (we have soy and peanut allergies so in the shared kitchen this is important). We detest smoke (no smokers), fossil fuels, and burnt food (one of us has asthma). We don't scream, play loud music, or throw parties, and rarely have people over. (We are fans of Couchsurfing though.) Please include some of the top things you like to cook in your message: We like cooking (mostly Indian food), and think it would be important to share a meal like once a week or so. We speak English, Swedish, French, and German. Would love to learn Spanish. About the place: - Private furnished room for you (4.3m x 2.9m), plus a private bathroom (not ensuite, opposite the kitchen) with shower. - Furniture included with your room: Double bed, two nightstands with lamps, built-in closet, mirror, ceiling lamp, two roller blinds. - Shared with us is the fully equipped kitchen/living room. (We also have our own room and bathroom.) - Move-in date: 1st of December! - No fix move-out date. - Rent is 992€/month excluding electricity of around 40-100€/month. - ~400/100 Mbps internet included. - You will sign a contract directly with the corporate landlord (not us). About the building: - Modern, recently built. - Access to gym, movie room, study room, event room, and rooftop terrace. About the area: - Buses 41, 16, and 33 just outside (30min to Dublin center/O'Connell Street, 15min to airport). - Spar, shops, restaurants, a café, and Santry Park just outside. - Omni Shipping Centre (with Lidl, M&S Foodhall, Tesco), Aldi and Centra less than 500m away (5min walk).
