It's not to exclude anyone it's just that one gets a lot of one-line replies. The House: Bedroom 1 Small-to-medium room with a double bed and built-in wardrobe. The house has all mod cons, internet, front and back gardens and conservatory. The kitchen is equipped with a washing machine, microwave, kettle, toaster, nice big fridge/freezer and good storage space. There is unfortunately only a single shared bathroom with electric shower. The internet, toilet rolls, washing up liquid and detergent are provided free of charge. There are only 2 bills: electricity and gas. Gas is for the heating so the bill is very low during warmer months. Great location: * 5mins walk to train station * 6mins drive to the M1 * 8mins drive to Swords * 15mins drive to the airport * 25mins train journey to city centre Great local amenities: * Donabate beach * Donabate cliffs * Newbridge House and Demesne * Broadmeadow Estuary * Turvey Park nature reserve * Five golf courses Great for kayaking, walking, swimming, cycling etc. The estate is very quiet as there is no through traffic or traffic noise. It is 5 mins walk to Donabate train station and a shopping centre with a Supervalu supermarket. The train takes 25 mins to go from Donabate to the city centre. Donabate is the next station north of Malahide (which is the last DART stop from the city centre). The Donabate train is an intercity train coming from Drogheda, not as regular as the DART but generally punctual. If you like nature, you will like Donabate. The town is on a peninsula between the Rogerstown Estuary to the north and Broadmeadow Estuary to the south. The house is 15 mins walk from Donabate beach and Donabate cliffs with the Shoreline Hotel (Dublin's only hotel and terrace located right on the beach, facing Lambay Island, Howth Head and Ireland's Eye) in between. Behind the railway station is the 18th-century Newbridge House and Demesne, a public park and farm that sits on 370 acres of eighteenth-century landscaped parklands. There is also Turvey Park nature reserve beside Rogerstown Estuary. Donabate is a golf lovers paradise.
