It’s an eleven-minute walk to Plaça Catalunya and just fifteen minutes on the metro sees you to the awe-inspiring Sagrada Familia. There’s no lift in the building, so you’ll need to be comfortable climbing a lot of stairs to the entrance. Once inside, it’s a stylish spot with a compact kitchen, living area and double French windows that open to a Juliet-style balcony overlooking the street below. There's even a pull-out single bed that sleeps an additional guest, which we think is best for a child. Home truths: *This is a studio apartment, so the bed shares the same space as the kitchen and living area. *On the fourth floor of a historic building without a lift, you'll need to climb a lot of stairs (approximately 85) to reach the entrance of this home. *Your host can provide a cot on request if you're travelling with little ones. *One person will sleep on a fold-out single bed. We think it's best suited to a child. *Groups of young people are not permitted to stay here. The lead guest must be at least 25 years old. *There is no private parking with this home. However, you're in the centre of Barcelona with plenty of public transport options around. *The air conditioner is not very powerful, but the open windows provide a nice breeze.
