Situated 16 miles from Wexford town and 30 miles from Rosslare ferry port, this delightful 200 year old cottage is on a working dairy farm close to the River Bannow with Pony Trekking on site - 40 minutes for EUR20. The cottage has been lovingly renovated to feature the original beamed ceilings in its open-plan living-kitchen-diner. It is well equipped and nicely furnished, to cater for a small family or two couples. It enjoys a splendid view over Bannow Bay and is convenient for the beaches at Fethard and Duncannon, the crystal factory in Waterford city and JF Kennedy Aboretum, to mention just a few.

~ Trekking Centre on farm and you can avail of a 40 minute trek for EUR20, an hours trek cost is EUR25, 3 hour trek is EUR40, 2day trek is EUR180 and 3 day trek is EUR230.

~Hook Head Lighthouse, the oldest lighthouse in Europe is only 8 miles away.

~We can offer our guests a 3 day horse riding trail along the scenic Bannow Bay shore line to the historical Tintern Abbey Woods. The Abbey is open to the public and we can mind your horse while you view the Abbey. Along the trail there is beautiful sandy beaches to canter on and finish at the Hook Head Lighthouse which is also open to the public. This is a very scenic trail out along the unspoilt historic peninsula with restaurants and shops en route. We use mostly Irish Cobs horses which are known for there great temperament.
