Graigue Farm is located a short distance from the picturesque village of Shanballymore, County Cork. The town developed rapidly and became famous as a spa resort, has become known as ' The Irish Bath' . The town has prospered as a market town due to its excellent surrounding agricultural lands, central location and railway network. Standing in the centre of the town on the banks of the Blackwater is The old Mallow Castle which adds to the character of the town.

Mallow town has so much to offer with excellent arts and cultural venues and events throughout the year with traditional music, drama groups, music classes and other cultural events. There is a cinema in the town to cater for family events and some
picturesque walks along the Blackwater Way, Killavullen Loop and Ballyhoura Mountain Park. Mallow offers some superb sporting activates with a GAA club, rugby clubs. Family funcan be enjoyed with equestrian activities, swimming, walking and
hiking through magnificent countryside full of wildlife. From a demographic point of view Mallow is the 5th largest town in County Cork. Cork is often referred to as " The Rebel County" . This name has origins in the 15th century, but came more prominent around the Irish War of independence (1919 - 1921) when considerable fighting broke out in Cork.

Equestrian enthusiasts are catered for with hunting offered by the famed Dulallow Hunt and the local Mallow Racecourse.
