Area
Clifden, a lively and popular town situated close to the Connemara National Park, is often referred to as 'the capital of Connemara'. The town offers many shops, pubs and restaurants. The town also hosts a range of festivals and events throughout the year, such as the Clifden Arts and Clifden Music festivals. Clifden is a brilliant base to explore the region and to see the wildlife and wonderful landscapes Connemara National Park has to offer. One of the most popular attractions is the 'Sky Road' which rises to more then 150m. The views of the Atlantic Ocean, Clifden Castle and the town are breathtaking.
